TSMC and Huge Energy strategic cooperation Taiwan Building Circuit Manufacturing Co., Ltd., short for TSMC, belongs to the semiconductor manufacturing company. Founded in 1987, it is the world's first professional building circuit manufacturing service (wafer foundry) enterprise, headquarters and main factory located in Hsinchu City Science Park, Taiwan Province, China. In 2017, the sector share was 56%. In the first quarter of 2018, consolidated revenue was $8.5 billion, up 6%, net profit was $3 billion, up 2.5%, gross margin was 50.3% and net profit was 36.2%, of which 10 nm wafer shipments accounted for 19% of total wafer revenue, and 7nm FinFET process technology was about to be mass produced. In July 2019, Japan announced restrictions on three semiconductor materials, TSMC began to investigate supply chain risks, and set up a team of fabs, asset management, risk management and quality management units to first assist TSMC suppliers in developing operational sustainability plans for potential risks to enhance the supply chain's resilience. TSMC's full-year revenue in 2010 was NT$419.54 billion, again setting a new record. TSMC's global headquarters are located in Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan Province, China, with subsidiaries or offices in North America, Europe, Japan, Chinese mainland, Korea, India and other places to provide real-time business and technical services to customers worldwide. TSMC has built a $3 billion plant in Nanjing, test-building has announced an investment agreement with the Nanjing Municipal Government, which will spend $3 billion to set up a 100 percent controlling TSMC (Nanjing) Co., Ltd. in Nanjing City, with a 12-inch fab and a design service center. In January 2020, the list of the world's top 500 most valuable brands was released in 2020, with TSMC ranked 218th.
